I've been on two sides of this actually. Some time ago a provider offered to reimburse me half of what I paid her if I'd write nice things about her on TER. I didn't take her up of that but wrote nice things about her anyway because I thought she deserved it. Then once 3-4 years back I followed up on the review from what I thought was a reliable hobbyist with whom I shared some very very valuable information. That turned out to be a session to remember and not from its good side. I also often find many mongers on TER more entitled and less opt to keep their word than here.

I much rather prefer USASG. People have less incentive to lie here. Sure there are some pimps pushing 'their girls' but you can usually see them a mile away. Also from the point of view of sharing and trading. If you have a UTR that you care about it's much easier to figure out who you want to share her info with and who not just by looking at the member's posting history.

The other problem is that if you write a review on TER, you can get a free month of VIP. And there are a lot of BS reviews on TER because people just want to get a free month.

Here, reviews are free and mostly truthful. You occasionally have a provider sign-up as a member and review themselves, or someone has a grudge and unfairly trashes a provider. But that doesn't happen often, and there are plenty of members out there to support or oppose any such reports.
