WebDog, you certainly make some valid points, in particular the fact that there is a trial period in which all posts are moderated before appearing on the board which is something that I had completely forgotten about and which would or at least should eliminate the type of content that I'm concerned about.

And since my thoughts of what could potentially happen stems mainly from what I've seen on the other boards you mentioned which aren't moderated like this one, I'm willing to keep an open mind on the issue. I'm not a hundred percent convinced yet, only time will change that.

Congratulations WebDog, you've taken someone dead-set against something, make a cognizant argument and for the most part, changed their mind.

But I agree with Web Dog. This board is not like CL BECAUSE it is moderated. In my experience the most effective boards are moderated, not free for all's. My issue really has more to do with WHAT should be posted much more than who should be posting it. It's one thing to communicate between fellow board members about your experiences with a particular provider. It's quite another to post what hotel she is staying at.

I still have concerns that undesirables will try to creep into the board but, as others have stated, it's not like this place is a secret. I know of quite a few providers who know of it's existence but simply choose not to post here.
