I think the best thing you can do is to find the link to her personal info and post it here. If there is a charge, there is a docket# already attached to her name. If you can find her name you probably can find her picture. Posting it here would help us too. UTR, not advertising and all but if you were able to come across her, any of us could.

For the future carry a pepper spray. Saved my butt once already and made me feel good about myself in the process too.

Definitely let it go. We all understand the frustration and wanting revenge but you need to pick your battles.

What are you to gain? At most she gets max punishment for larceny because of your story but won't be hit with additional charges unless you file.

What are you to lose? By doing this, you risk exposing yourself and your hobby. Assume worst case and it gets back to your friends and family. Some people have a LOT to lose while others not so much.

Best thing to do is expose her on here so karma can get back to her.

Let it go. You got out of it without exposing yourself. Count that as something and move on. Karma will catch up with her (if it hasn't already).

Let it go. No good will come of it. How did you meet her? Curious.

If you insist on pursuing, then perhaps go to court date to get her information, name at least. Take more pics of her. Get docket when her case is called, or from the court list for that day.

You can go to court, clerks office, afterwards and look at her docket & file. Act like you know what you are doing. The clerks don't usually ask for I'd or bar card. Its a public record anyway.

Should have her name and current address in file. I would not have any contact with the Assistant District Attorney or police.

I'm relatively new and not sure what level of info is safe to share for them and for us mongers here. I think ultimately you share what you think it's the max you could bear and have them decide what more they want to ask. And this is what I did.

In terms of $, is it safe to share? You are a senior so I feel OK, but want to hear what others have to say.
