For anyone who searches later, some providers who are higher-end and professional DO ask for a deposit. I've paid deposits in the past, and I didn't get burned. But providers who do ask for a deposit will typically be more established in the community, have ongoing social media presence, etc.

Ok so I saw an Instagram story she posted and she seems mighty pissed off. I don't speak Brazilian Portuguese but she went on a rant and there was some English mixed in saying something about these gringos talking bullshit about her and to "go suck a dick assholes!" I saw this persons ad originally on onebackpage and now it's on skip. She says she is back but I don't recognize the girl in the pics, which look really hot, but the ad lists a city and has a local number so I don't know what to think. My image search and Google of the phone number isn't finding anything unless I'm accidentally overlooking it.
