I would use a vpn for all web communications, and on your phone as well. ISP logs not only IP addresses but other metadata and this information can be used in court. As I have said in an earlier post, use a burner number / burner phone, a vpn at all times, use bleachbit to clean computers. I am happy to give more suggestions if anyone needs help. PM me.

When in doubt, just turn your mobile device off, then you're not tracked at all. If the SO asks why she couldn't reach you, just tell her the battery was low. Simple.

Also one you may not think about: your Fitbit or smartwatch. My SO told me about a friend of a friend who caught him cheating because her Fitbit was linked to his and his heart rate was spiking at times when he wasn't with her or at the gym.

I wonder if turning your phone off really turns it off? I know some GPS things run all the time even when they are turned off. They may just go into some low power mode?
