Hell I was even friends with one who was my atf until she decided to retire. I know some people use a number connected to their fb account so if they "upload contacts" then they will show up occasionally in your people who you may know feed. The worst part is the craigslist ones that manage to get your phone number and suddenly you have a bunch of foreigners on your feed.

I have a few regulars who do things like that. A lot of times they're hoping you will go ahead and see them after they make contact. On the outside chance they've been busted, and LEO is using their phone, I never respond.
