It would make sense, since the majority of clients are 40+ years old. They just have a different way of talking and no offense to the older guys here; but it makes sense that they would keep up with the old ways no matter how silly it may seem. The younger folks (25-35) just move differently. It's just two generations of clients operating at the same time.

Even on TER, I sometimes laugh out loud when I read some of these reviews from the older guys versus the younger guys.

As an older hobbyist and one that has done it awhile, I will say things clearly work different nowadays. More scammers, shittier quality women in medium price point (300-400). More independents (which I think is less safe for everyone because of scammers). TER coming back was a huge win, but lack of review sites was a problem. And, yes when I send messages and write reviews I say things like 300 roses. I got into this habit as the other side use to always do it, so I copied. Even though I see a lot less cryptic messages nowadays, I choose to still stay cryptic. I mean it doesn't hurt to be overly cautious in this business. I have been ripped off in the past. So, maybe saying 300 roses instead of something else gives some level of deniability. I get it, that it probably doesn't work, but again, never hurts to be cautious things in print and those for things way beyond this hobby. Hobby, nice cryptic term for you.

Based on your example, I'd fall into the "older guys" bucket. I think it just comes down to people who understand it's dumb to use code phrases vs those of us who don't. No offense to the younger guys, but they really seem to be the ones who ask all the questions that could be answered with a simple search.

Yeah, same thing with the younger folks generally. The lack of effort to find a simple answer can be frustrating. For example, when LK was password protected. The amount of people asking for the password over and over was ridiculous. Could simply just text the number via a quick google search or find the answer in the forum.

Could be a bunch of guys new to the game (ie younger guys) or maybe older guys who just don't know how to operate the internet, who truly knows.

Either way, I think we're on the same page that regardless; the older generation and the younger generation are blending more.

Myself and several others have typed out dollar amounts plenty of times. You can even leave out the dollar sign symbol and you still understand whether it's 150 or $150.

But old school at some point decided doing "dreams" and "roses" and use periods and dollar symbols to spell out amounts paid. My guess to "hide" from LE but it's just silly doing that today.

As soon as the weather is nice they take off practically all their clothes out in public. I'm at the car wash minding my damn business and no less than 3 separate chicks are there washing their cars by themselves, two have on daisy dukes with cheeks completely out, and they are ass up vacuuming their cars out. Another was a sexy ass MILF with her kids, in gym clothes with a skimpy sports bra, and she is bent over with the girls hanging out saying hello.

I'm not talking about the shorthand stuff like BBFS, CFS, BBBJ, etc. I'm talking about the "I fell asleep and had a dream" bullshit and left "four roses". It's all so silly and doesn't accomplish shit.

I think some people like to think they're some sort of master criminal and any LE or judge / jury wouldn't see right through that shit. It doesn't protect anyone and simply muddies the waters for people looking for info. I guess it's the same sort of people that think sugar babies aren't simply hookers.

For me, it's just shorthand to keep from typing out the long form of words, no different that what people do when they text.

I don't think that's the same. The acronyms and code words are out of some misguided belief it protects them from LE or courtroom convictions. The belief that SBs aren't hookers is simply the delusion that they're hitting that pussy because they have "game" that's not part of their wallet. I'm with Admin2 on this one. Lie to the chicks if you must so they can maintain their delusion they aren't simply hookers.
