Of course I realize that, but it doesn't matter if it doesn't work! The dollar sign codes are actually used in a lot of hobby forums, not just usasg, and have been used for years, but something happened a while back during an upgrade here and the multiple dollar signs don't work. Obviously that is not just a Hawaii issue but an issue for the whole site. So unless the autocorrect editing feature gets fixed it makes no sense to type out multiple dollar signs that become 1, when the post gets posted.

Why not just write out numbers? 150,200, 300, etc. I have been pushing for that for a while. Silly codes don't protect us from LE, are not really shortcuts in typing, and get autocorrected to something the poster didn't intend and then confuse the other readers.
