Thanks Möbius and I totally agree, which is why we chose to take our money elsewhere. I had no issue with the bouncer, he was polite and very professional, I just didn't agree with his decision. We don't mind lady rotations and in fact encourage it, provides variety for the customers. But a customer shouldn't be asked to move if we are adequately tipping and drinking, just not to that particular "dancer" if you want to call them that. Many just lay around playing on their phones until money appears. I guess I have a different philosophy about the business. If you dance and show off your assets, whatever they may be, customers will be more inclined to sit down and tip. I refuse to tip a lady who is lying there playing on her phone just to show interest. In my opinion, the ladies in Hawaiian men's clubs are lazy. If I was an owner and I saw someone laying down, playing on their phone, they would be politely asked to leave and find employment elsewhere. This type of business is or should be customer orientated and should ok to satisfy the customers needs, not employee focused. If the customer receives good service they will be more inclined to spend money, that is how it works, or should work. Just one reason I believe this industry is on the decline in Hawaii. Cater to the customer and you will be successful.

I told him that I'm a paying customer, buying drinks, tipping ladies and you are asking me to move because your wacked out dancer who is fat and not even pretty needs customers? Does that seem logical? If your paycheck comes from paying customers, whether from her or another dancer, it shouldn't matter if I tip her or someone else, you get paid. I told him that's the point behind rotations, the girls move to the customer not the other way around, unless a customer fancies a particular lady, then they move with the girl.

He didn't see it my way and told us if we didn't move we would be asked to leave. I popped up, shouted out fuck this place, looked at the girl who was being smug and told her she was wacked, had a fucked up body and better stay in Hawaii because this is only place that will let you dance. I can't even believe they keep you on staff. Then I said the BAD statement, you're probably here for the retards or Japanese tourist who are either blind or too dumb to know she is wacked. The bouncer put his hand on my shoulder and asked me to leave. Obviously I complied, but as I was leaving I was still talking trash to the dancer, if you want to call her that.

Being former military, 23 years, I've been to a couple dance places in my day. This is the only place I've seen who tells the customers to do anything but drink and tip if necessary. The bar should give two shits who I'm tipping, as long as we pay our cover, which went up to $10 per person and buy drinks at a reasonable pace. If the bar's priority is to get their dancers paid and not the bar, then they should not be in business for very long. Maybe that's what I need to do, start up a high class club, keep it clean, offer only quality ladies and kill the business for the other places. If you pay dancers well, and create an environment where they can make serious money, they will stay, and I'll have the best quality ladies in Hawaii because they want to leave these messed up clubs.

So the Russian girl you and your wife were enjoying "rotated" to another customer? This other girl then rotated to you? I take it several rotations would have to happen before your girl got back to you? Yes that can be awkward. I suppose that's their way of helping out low-demand strippers, and allows others to enjoy high-demand strippers.

I stopped going to FM years ago but do remember getting away when I wasn't interested in the next girl.

Places that have only one girl on stage at a time (except during peak times) are easier. The girl stays as long as you have money, and service continually increases.

It sounds like at least the bouncer was nice about it though, and you were able to leave without incident (eg. you were not followed outside by rowdy customers, or cronies of the girl or bar owner unbeknownst to you, as a result of your outburst).

Bouncers WILL obey their boss and do as they have been instructed, and will not be very interested in customer opinion.

Like Ducky 007 says, we choose our bars. "Take the good with the bad", I reckon.

Just my opinion, as a former Doorman / Bouncer (over 10 years) in Hawaii, myself and most guys I knew working just wanted to get paid and go home safe at the end of the night. Less hassles, less headaches. We do not want to work hard while you guys get to have fun but that was the gig. Granted there have been and will always be a few assholes working. I get it. The get off on the power trip and the girls and whatevers. Happends to the best.

The bar strip bar biz in Hawaii is on the decline, no one can and will dispute that, not too many to go to left. Just have fun, do what you got to do to live life.
