The complex has new owners (Korean). Notice the parking has changed, they have a guard and cameras. If they catch you parking and walking up/down the street they call the guard and you are towed. They are trying to kick out CF. Rumor is they want to open their own club. The city/county restrictions on new liquior licenses is making that a problem. CF in protest cancelled their rent payment. It's because the shut down isn't going to happen. Leases are being extended...as plans to redevelop that block are on hold.

It wouldn't surprise me if the Wall Street meltdown has lead to an inability to find financing for any type of real estate developement. In addition, the developer may be close to going under due to the colapse in real estate. The next phase of the housing bubble / Wall St. Meltdown is commercial real estate.
