Rock Za and Femme Nu are close to Waikiki. These days, Rock Za has more and better girls overall. Still have some love for Femme Nu and YMMV. Another good place is 939, short cab ride from are Za and F Nu.

Out of boredom, I paid my first visit in years to Rock Za. I still remember when pimps were hanging out there and had their girls supposedly working as dancers, but the girls would skip out if the pimp sent them to service a client. The place seemed to be Pimp Central and it really looked like they were running the place, for all intents and purposes. Rock Za finally wised-up and kicked them out.

By comparison, RZ always seemed like the dirtier, rougher sister of Femme Nu and I seldom went there. After a nasty run-in at FN, my strip club options were limited to either RZ or 939. So, I went to RZ to see how the place has changed since my last visit.

There is a pretty wide variety of girls these days, most surprisingly from Eastern Europe. I met girls from Poland and Hungary working there, both of them speaking very good English and experienced in working in strip clubs. The music was just wall-to-wall Rap and I seriously couldn't tell when one song ended and the next began, since it all sounds the same to me.

The place is cleaner, the girls are better and there isn't the FN-style pressure to buy the girls drinks or dances.

All solid advice, just be aware that Melo is NOT a strip club, it is what we here in Hawaii call a hostess bar, and you are likely to get fleeced if you go in not knowing what's going on. The hustle is that you walk in and there are a bunch of cute young girls sitting around in the bar, and you can sit at the bar or in a booth and have a drink. But if you want their company, you will need to buy them shots as well, and their shots start at $20, and can go up to $100. The girls get a cut of every shot they sell. What do you get for $20? Not much my friend, maybe some chit chat and maybe a brush of your leg. But that's it. Now if money is no object, you can sit there and drink with one or two or three girls and get drunk while they drink fake water shots and gradually increase their shot prices from $20 to $100, and with a couple hours your tab will blossom to $1000. That's the bad news. The good news is that some, but not all, hostess girls will also go home with you, since you have proven yourself worthy LOL. But their take home rate may also fluctuate depending on your looks your game and your wallet. But all said, your much better off going to a strip club for some nudity and a mp for sex. The hostess bar game is always stacked against the player and always in the house's advantage.
