I'm still new at posting reviews but thought I'd share my experience. Went to Smile Spa tonight even though I saw the reviews (mostly negative). What is the going rate for a tip if no extras are provided? I see .15 here, I recently had a girl tell me that most guys tip .2. I don't want to be cheap but .2 for a .5 massage is 40% and that seems excessive for doing your job. Anyone tell me what the going tip rate would be for a massage only?

I'm new to this website. So I'm not sure what's the proper way to put in a good word about a great massage I had. I went to Siam Healthland in Aiea, and had a massage from Mai, one of the owners. It was great! First of all, the view out the back window is beautiful, it's right next to the water at Pearl Harbor. And Mai is pretty, she's a Thai woman, and she gave me a lot of good information about the local Thai community here in Oahu. And the massage she gave me was great, really relaxing. I highly recommend this place. Mai also gave me some suggestions about other places to get a massage if she's not working that day. I think she said something about Thai Hawaiian Massage in Century Center as being really good (also all Thai women! ). But anyway, I'm going back to see Mai whenever she's on duty there.
