Uh oh. I just saw Channel 8 run a TV ad for an investigative report they are airing this week on massage parlors in Tampa. And they showed the reporter walking up the back entrance to what was formerly known as Kim's. WTF?

I just saw the ad Wrek posted about. It was framed as Tampa's dirty little secret. It's supposed to come on at 5 pm. I may tune in to see what they say and if they talk to uncle LEO. If LEO is willing to offer some information about what he's looking for or may be moving on next it could be useful.

Although not actually a massage parlor, there have been posts in this forum on Nina's Oils.

Last week Nina told me she is no longer associated with Nina's Oils. It is run by her former partner.

He is still posting under Nina's Oils. The posts appear to be written by Nina, but they are not.

The shop is still open with talent available, just not Nina.

The May ratings period begins on Thursday. Expect 4 weeks of breathless reports on how their intrepid investigators are unmasking the seedy underbelly of this threat to public decency. Grady Judd may even get his face on the tube again, well more than normal.

Like snowbird season it will pass quickly and they'll be back to "investigating" people who don't cut their grass and restaurant inspections.

I haven't been to Magic Spa in over a year, so things could very well have changed. However, I did not enjoy the two times I DID visit. First time was a girl named Mima (or Mina, or something like that). TS was pathetic, paying for 1 hr got me 5 min TS + 30 min rub. Her hands were kind of coarse skinned or calloused. Mechanical ending, no friendliness, no small talk, no undressing, no roaming, no nothing. Tip was 80 or 100, I don't remember.

Second visit was pretty much the same, with a different girl whose name I don't remember. The only difference is that the TS lasted 15 minutes instead of 5, so it felt like I got the full hour.

Don't waste your time or money. There's a fuck-ton of better options on the same street.

Sorry I'm late but I agree. Magic Spa wasn't worth the price when I was going, at the time I just didn't know any better. Things could have changed more recently, but years ago they were already charging more than top notch places are charging now. I never had a bad experience there, but the prices were higher than the norm.

I considered TOFTT but if I know there are cheaper options available it seems stupid to pay more for a questionable experience.

Now it all makes sense. With the name change at Kim's and the reported decline in service at Lucky's. I'm sure Kim's knew this report was coming and other spas most likely heard about the report and may have adjusted their practices. Hopefully service doesn't go downhill across the board, but the news isn't doing us any favors.
