10+ years ago I think I saw a place at the corner of and Main and NE 39th ave. A lingerie / model place. Never stopped in, so I don't know exactly what it was. I think it was like the model places in Tampa.

Trader's South was definitely the old strip club on SW 13th. The club you might have been thinking about on NW 13th Street was probably Dubs. Not a strip club, just a rock and roll bar. Spent plenty of nights getting loaded there and another club called the Lamplighter. Fun times, great music and an occasional hookup if I got lucky.

Still plenty of sex happening in Gainesville although the BP selection here isn't what it is in Orlando or even in Jacksonville.

Trader's, Lamplighter, Dubs, also, the Red Lion-- all good memories. Makes me want to do another pub crawl-- but my days of partying until 2 AM closing time and still making an 8 AM class (or work) may be distant memories. Thanks to a PM from a TUSCL member, I can identify the Gainesville strip club from the 70's-Traders South. Thought this might bring back some good memories from the 70's for some senior members.

I think you have hit the nail on the head my friend. I will be traveling to G'ville for business during the next several months and have found through research on this board and cross referencing on tHE other board that G'ville is not exactly teaming with reliable talent. Every now an then you may find one on BP but it's really hit and miss and you have to be very cautious. Through my research the only ones that I have read to be consistent and reliable are two ladies in Keystone Heights, Suki and Shy which is about 25 miles east of G'ville. Otherwise my plan was to make a pit stop in O'town on the way up or back from business.

Thanks for confirming my analysis Hawkeye. It sounds like Florida has become even more schizophrenic with over jealous LE in some markets (G'ville and Orlando?, Tallahassee) trying to prevent consenting adults from having sex or displaying skin within the confines of a strip club. In contrast, the Tampa, Miami and even Jacksonville areas sound like they're much less intrusive when it comes to human sexuality. I realize that enforcement of vice laws is under local jurisdiction so it is not unheard of for enforcement to vary across communities. But it is still surprising, at least to me, to note how conservative the major Florida college towns (e. G. , Gainesville, Tallahassee) have become.

I lived in Gainesville during the 1970's and I seem to recall that the city had one or more strip clubs (I don't recall the names) and that the city was teeming with sexually adventurous coeds. I was combing the Gainesville section of USASG in preparation of a trip to Gainesville in January and I was amazed / disappointed to see that there are no strip clubs in G'ville and the AMP / spa scene seems pretty anemic also.

My questions for those in the know about the Gainesville scene (and maybe for some seniors on the board) -- is my conclusion (that Gainesville has become incredibly conservative on the sex scene) valid or am I missing something? Where do men in Gainesville go for some fun-- Tampa, Cocoa Beach, Jacksonville? And, for the seniors, what was the name of the strip club in Gainesville during the 1970's-- seem to recall it was north of town, maybe on 13th street?

By the way, if you ever need pointers on a trip to Michigan, feel free to contact me. The strip club scene in metro Detroit is a lot of fun.

That exposingjohns web site seems to indicate they'll take anonymous submissions. They're a defamation lawsuit away from being shutdown and out of business if they are not vetting submissions. The whois information is a bit interesting, they're hosted in India.

Oh, and the domain's expiration date is 15 April 2014. If they're not on the ball, some smart person could take over the domain name...

OK they post a fake ad on back-page once you set up a date with fake girl the person running the site will list your info on that site: Be-careful seeing people who have no reviews period and use burner phones is the best advise to give make sure she's legit I do understand sites like national black list because lets face it there are bad people out there but sites like this could damage you if anyone you don't want to know finds out.
