North fort Myers narcotics investigation update.

"My team of dedicated deputies are always patrolling our streets. North District deputies spotted possible criminal activity and immediately jumped into action," stated Sheriff Carmine Marceno. "The impressive teamwork between these deputies and my Narcotics Unit put this dealer behind bars where he belongs. ".

On November 30,2021, North District deputies were conducting proactive patrols at the Riverview Inn in North Fort Myers. Deputies made contact with the suspect and convicted felon, Adam Perlberg (DOB 02/24/1981), who fled at the sight of law enforcement.

Deputies detained Perlberg and subsequently located narcotics and a firearm in his possession. The Lee County Sheriff's Office Narcotics Unit responded to assume the investigation.

A search warrant for Perlberg's room at the Riverview Inn was executed. In total, detectives seized of 17.2 grams of Fentanyl, 13.63 grams of crystal Methamphetamine, and 0. 66 grams of Cocaine.

Perlberg was arrested and charged with Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon and an array of narcotics charges to include Trafficking in Fentanyl, Possession of Cocaine, and Possession of a Controlled Substance without Prescription.

It's typical, man. It's always (ex's, brother's, sister's, mom's, dad's, children's, police's, government's, candyman's) fault. In my years doing this, taking a chance has, most of the time, resulted in a loss and my green roses were better off staying in my pocket. It's amazing to see the depths these girls go to. I always remind them (when they get snippy) that we allow them to do what we do, and that's why I'm more keen to report a bad date than a good one.
