Google voice shows up on bill if SO looks at bill.

The outgoing (and incoming) calls show up with randomized numbers, unrelated to the number you actually are calling. Its not traceable. HOWEVER, you are correct. The "random" place-setter phone number that Googles uses, does indeed show up in your call history. Its just not the real number used or received. Its a fake. Its not a perfect solution. We get so many spam calls in now, texts, etc. That the phone record is a mess anyway. Lost in the clatter.

If you swipe "left" - on the purchase history inside of the app store, you have an option of "hide" to hide it. Once you do that, with the current OS.... This could change, so a little monitoring might be worthwhile, thank you Apple idiot engineers. It does not show back up no matter how many times you download the app. I've used this fact for over a decade, and all "shared" devices on the same icloud account do not see the activity. Stealth. Works. App tracking need not be tracked that way, by the swipe to hide, just one time.

If you have a txt free account you do not need the app each time. Go to private browsing or incognito on android and google txt free web. Log in your account and no need to download and delete the app. Once you leave private mode it's gone. If your hiding from your "significant other" they can easily see your download history if they have 1/2 a brain and will power to look. And it can not be deleted from your "purchase" history free app or not. Your welcome. Thank me later.

Just uninstall the app. Reinstall when ready to log back in.

I agree. Just be sure to log in every 30 days and send a text or you'll lose your number unless you pay to keep it. I like this app because you can log out and that way those 3 am random text doesn't raise any eyebrows. I don't save log in info and I would suggest the same if you want to keep low key. Only way I could get rid of user log in info was to go into settings and clear cache of that app, which is a pia to do often but well worth it if you don't want to be in shaggys position and saying it wasn't me.

Get the cheapest trakfone flip phone. You do not want to be carrying around your real phone.
