A few years back Sarah in Taylors would request a dick pic before a first visit as a LEO check. I knew that ahead of time thanks to this forum so I wasn't concerned and all went well both for the first and subsequent visits. (I wish she was still around.) She was the only legitimate provider who ever asked me. However, I do things differently regarding contacts on Craigslist due to the large number of bogus posts. Whether a poster includes a photo of "herself" (I think most of these ads are posted by guys running scams) or not I will request a picture of "her" flashing a peace sign or showing a Post-It with the current date. Not once have I received the requested picture but I usually get a reply asking if I'm real and a link to some scam site. If things appear on the level and I'm asked to send a photo I have one I ripped from the internet that I send. I've also ripped mugshots of some genuine low lifes and it never deterred a single poster which screams SCAM. Funny but in the two-plus years I've been contacting Craigslist posts I have yet to meet a single poster. I know others have and maybe I'm being overly cautious but at least I'm home safe and with my reputation, for what that's worth, intact.

Absolutely not! Once the picture is in someone else's possession I have no control over how it's used. It might even pop up years later and affect my job or a future relationship.

Just one guy's opinion.
