Stop, just please stop. You aren't a doctor or a virologist, so please stop posting conspiracy theories. You may be right, but given the fact that the government is controlled by the Republicans, I'm not even sure how a wildly irrational person would come to your conclusions. Could we now take this forum back from spitting unfounded accusations to being about escorts?

Predictions
There is no upcoming election in the UK, but there are predictions of as much as half a million deaths from this virus and the Brits tend not to indulge in hysteria. However I am fervently hoping you are right JM.
I noticed an article about the effect on Australia's escort industry. I suppose we can expect similar.

Post the info on social media. Seems a bit coincidental.

OK, look at US numbers. The spanish flu killed 650,000 in the US when the population was one-third of now. If COVID kills at half the rate that is 1 million US deaths. Yes number are not bad NOW. What is feared is what happens with growth curves. I am not terrible at Math, actually I am very good. Currently the US percentage of people infected is low (estimated at 0. 01% but rising. Consider a crowded bar with 200 people in it. Lets say you bump into 50 of those people. The average person is contagious for 5 days before they get symptoms. No problem, odds are only 0. 5% one of the 50 has the virus. But that figure is rising and as it rises those chance meeting in bars become more dangerous. At. 1% you have a 5% chance one of those 50 people has the virus. At 1%, the figures jumps to near 40%. And you will probably survive. Heck probably will not even get horribly sick. But 10-15% will need to go to the hospital (but will survive). That will overwhelm the health care system. I do not know what measure are justified at this point. But you do not want to get on the wrong side of an exponential growth curve. That is just the Math. So yes say all the media, politicians (of both parties), the CDC, WHO, and NIH are all in on a conspiracy. But I got to think, what would it take to make you even consider the possibility that the danger is real?

Big Changes are coming
All the panic and confusion, plus draconian policies which will surely produce a recession, all result from insufficient medical capacity. Nearly 20% of the people who contract the virus will fall seriously ill and if Italy and China are a model that the USA will follow, we just don't have the hospital beds for the flu sufferers, (mainly disabled and elderly). So governments came up with this idea of shutting down the economy and isolating communities to slow down the progress of the disease and ensure there will be enough hospital beds, doctors, nurses medical supplies etc.
I doubt that the relief gained will be worth the economic chaos that will follow. My 401 K is a miserable sight to behold; might have to back off this hobby for financial reasons, let alone the risk being one of the seriously ill.
Big changes are coming; I'm just too old for this shit.

True words of wisdom here. As a matter of fact, it's a shame that the entire country. And the rest of the word, that is. Is caving in to this hoax. One wonders why did not put in all these efforts before 2016, it probably took some time to create the 'pandemic'.
Too bad our true great leader is also caving in, I thing that him saying that this 'pandemic' is 'bad' is completely. Or, actually, tremendously. Out of proportion.

Pandemic
I suppose if mongers wish to continue seeing escorts during this coronavirus outbreak it would be wise to select providers who are not too popular. There are gals plying their trade in Sparkle City and only getting one client a day judging by their complaints; limited exposure to clients means limited exposure to the flu virus. However if we see popular escorts like Kimberly and Carmen the risk becomes considerably greater.
One might temporarily give up the hobby as suggested by Zauriel, if zero risk is what you really want. Or you could just be selective about who you see.
However, I can understand the sheer horror of getting infected and taking it home to the family, particularly the elderly. One hell of a guilt trip.

Well said, sir! This entire affair is so blown out of proportion and the political end game attempt is blatantly obvious. It should be upsetting to everyone regardless of party affiliation. Already the numbers of those who have contracted, been hospitalized and died as a result of the flu and the Coronavirus is wildly different with those adversely affected by the flu being many times greater. The 24/7 news cycle has proved to be the bane of us rather than a help.
Jeff.

Compare third world numbers to first world numbers for one thing. China vs South Korea are prime examples. Way too many people die of simple ailments in China. A cut finger or broken bone can take you out in China if your poor and lack care (95% of the population). The South Koreans are not hiding under their beds or digging mass graves. The US has a media controlled by a political element that will do ANYTHING to detail the projection with regards to the coming election. Where was the mass hysteria when 12,000+ people died from swine flu during the Obama administration. We will never all agree on our political views. Which is probably a good thing overall. But this machinery in place now WILL kill people. In a few years some sort of REAL crisis will come along, and people will remember the "cry wolf" of 2020 and fail to respond properly. Such a shame. Maybe I'm just getting old, or maybe I just have too good of a memory, but I sure wish we could still watch the Huntley-Brinkley report, or the McNeil-Lehrer hour and have no idea what political party those men subscribed to. Come on kids, put down the hand sanitizer, ride a bike, drink out of the neighbors garden hose. And let mom clean up that skinned knee while dad says "won't do that again, will ya boy?

A more accurate comparison is to the 1918 Spanish flu that killed 20-50 million worldwide because it was not controlled when it first started. Yes the number now are small compared to flu but this thing was just started. Look at the numbers. It spreads more easily than flu and has a death rate for those that get it an order of magnitude larger than "regular" flu. If not seriously mitigated or some other change occurs, yes this would be a major issue.

Do these girls have a forum where they talk about potential clients and say things like, "he's old and fat"?

My own personal thoughts on this subject is very quite simple. I prefer text message on the initial contact followed closely by email communications second as a way to contact. Some providers feel this way as well but everyone is different. Matter of preference depending on the individual. If the provider fails to reply in a timely manner or not at all I don't even attempt to see them. It's a way for a provider to eliminate themselves without me having to do it myself. My feelings are if you don't even reply or at least acknowledge the text by asking me to call you then I'm okay with not seeing you. Some will even do a preemptive strike by mentioning in their ad that they don't accept text messages and to call instead.
