Posts: 367Summer's new start on life.
I was texting Summer just minutes ago and she said she is now in Dallas and using a new name, Ginger. Her current BP post is below and it has many new photos if you go through the links to her previous posts.
I think it is safe to say that those who met her enjoyed her company very, very much. I, for one, will miss her a lot. She is truly a class act.

This survey has a lot to do with your living situation.
As GW pointed out, a lot of the questions were something like, "Does sex cause problems with your friends, family"?
I'm single, no kids, no ex, so there's not really a lot being in the hobby can do to affect my life, I don't have much concerns about LEO because I know all of the ladies I see.
But if you're married / attached, you would have answered this survey with a lot of answers to make your score in the 6-8 range.

A lot of it has to do with your living situation. A bunch of the questions were something like, "Does sex cause problems with your friends, family. ?" For me, I'm single, no kids, no ex, so there's not really a lot being in the hobby can do to affect my life, other than the off chance I meet LEO. By contrast, if you're married / attached, you can run into problems, even if you don't get caught. You might miss your wife / girlfriend's phone call because you were hobbying, and end up in an argument, so something like that would count "against" you in the survey.
I'm not sure that it would be accurate to call it an addiction. I've been in bands with a lot of guys who had problems at home because of the band, but I wouldn't describe that as "musical addiction. ".

I have to agree with your assessment. I have a feeling some of the questions hit too close to home and that people are possibly ashamed about some of their behavior and are lying when answering.
But I think people need to keep in mind that therapists of all kinds are not averse to drumming up business in any way they can.
Keep in mind also that most of the people you know, including friends, family, co-workers, religious leaders, etc. would condemn you if they knew you were a member on this site or even that you visited it regularly. They, on the other hand, may be hiding sexual secrets which would embarass the worst of us here.
I believe there is a great deal that is not known about human sexuality precisely because it is such a personal and intimate behavior. Most people would condemn anyone who pays for sexual services. And yet there is this site, others like it, and many who belong or visit. There would not be internet or printed pornography if there were no market for it. Therefore I believe we can't get too upset about those who would assess and categorize us based upon our natural behaviors.

Posts: 449The test question should be more weighted. I was only a 3!
Took the test and came in with a "3".

I wouldn't be worried Fred. I think anyone active in our hobby is predisposed to score high on the survey. Many questions seem biased towards a "yes" answer. For instance: Do you often find yourself preoccupied with sexual thoughts? That's asked twice. Well, hell yes, ever since puberty! Technically what we do teeters on the edge of legality, not "normal", and for the most part, we hide it from others. Many other questions are automatic "yes" too. So does that make every Senior Member a sex addict? I doubt it.
