Yes look at the numbers. COVID is more deadly at ALL age group levels (except under 20) than the "regular" flu. A more accurate comparison is to the 1918 Spanish flu that killed 20-50 million worldwide because it was not controlled when it first started. Yes the number now are small compared to flu but this thing was just started. Look at the numbers. It spreads more easily than flu and has a death rate for those that get it an order of magnitude larger than "regular" flu. If not seriously mitigated or some other change occurs, yes this would be a major issue.

Granted, Mikey. But as I wrote, my concern isn't over my personal health but that I may spread it to someone more susceptible to fatality. With the flu, you get exposed, infected, it incubates 24 hours then you get the flu.

With COVID-19 you could be infected for weeks with no symptoms. That is not overhype, it is real.

I am taking a self-imposed hiatus from this hobby as well. Until this virus situation runs it's course.

I still play some but it has slowed considerably.

Sadly my hiatus is more due to years in the hobby and quality not near the same along with old age creeping up. It's just not as exciting as it use to be.

I have thought about choosing not to go to the AMP until this all blows over. Those little darlings do a lot of traveling, a lot!

While COVID-19 is not AIDS / HIV, it is a real threat inasmuch that it can incubate in a contagious carrier for weeks without displaying symptoms and spread to hundreds of people. I am a relatively healthy person, but I do not wish to unknowingly spread the contagion to someone who is more susceptible to fatality. I am fortunate that my job doesn't require me to interact with people (generally). I can choose to or not. But most people do not enjoy this freedom. Please be aware of the precautions to take when in public. Especially regarding hard surfaces (insert penis joke here). The passing of cash, credit cards, grocery items, etc. Any shared surface is a potential virus spreader. Gas pumps. Doors.

Be conscious of not touching your mouth / nose / eyes after interacting with such! This is a mental exercise. Practice it. It is so involuntary. Please be aware.

Have you been taken yearly hiatus's during flu season? If not, better think twice then....

Noticed a comment from Zauriel's recent post concerting Annalise - "I will tell you that she has confided in me her frustration with no-shows & thieves, and a general lack of business. It is probably wearing her down".

This is getting to be a real problem. The feedback from escorts demonstrates that there are some real asshole mongers out there.

Three main escort complaints:

1. Guys make appointments and don't turn up. Yesterday one particular Spartanburg escort had 10 appointments and only one showed up. That was my evening 'date' which paid for the next days rent.

2. Guys just want to talk and ask for risqu pics. They really are not going to make appointments, just get off wasting escort time since it's risk free and 'exciting'.

3. Guys negotiating lower prices. A lot of escorts reach the end of a working day with not enough money to pay for the next days motel rent, let alone expensive restaurant food. Always someone trying to take advantage. One demand yesterday - $40 for 30 minutes BBFS and CIP. Sometimes escorts have no choice, they NEED the next days rent so its bareback or lose a client.

Very well said sir. Don't think I disagree with this one bit. Since coming back to the hobbie, I have had similar feedback from some of the ladies I have visited. The quality of the talent pool here is bad and these issues outlined above are not going to help the situation.

Not sure there is much anyone here can do about this except maybe to continue to shine light on the situation and maybe it will hit home of some of the offenders.

How are decent mongers affected?

Well, double or even triple booking will compensate for the no-shows. At least one client will hopefully show up. We all hate it when the escort goes silent because we were not the first to reach the motel parking lot.

If you like BBFS then watch out. Most escorts who allow this just to make the next day's rent are now infected with an STD. They just can't afford to be selective anymore; too little business and too many assholes taking advantage. BBFS used to be a reward for faithful regulars; now its easily obtainable, along with chlamydia. The irony is that the guys who pressure the escort for bareback could receive an STD in return, which just adds to the spread of diseases. Don't expect the escort to have any sympathy!

A lot of escorts made good money under Backpage. This is not happening with STG; apart from class one gals like Kimberly. I think all these trafficking laws have scared off many clients along with adverse publicity, such as the sick persecution of Robert Kraft.
