Not even if they give it to you for free. My last stay there, I got comped to the buffet. The only thing edible was the salad. Thats it. I did try some of the dryest roast pork I have ever tasted. Not good.

If you need cheap eats, there is a Chipotle just on the far side of Harrahs that makes some of the tastiest gringo burritos you will ever have. A drink and burrito will set you back about $7-8 or so. If you need buffet food, fork over the extra dough for the one at the Mirage(~$17) or the even better one at Aladdin(~$24).

If you're driving in, I think you'll find parking arrangements at the IP are even more of a pain in the ass than bigger Strip properties, but the hotel is in a good location, and the cheap rooms are, well, cheap, at least by Strip standards. But for chrissakes don't even think of consuming any solid food in that place. There are many fine restaurants in the area, none of which are located inside the Imperial Palace.

If you'd like to see what awaits as you kill time before your visit you can always log into the IPs webcams at:
http://www.imperialpalace.com/ Click on the link on the right side of the page about a third of the way down. They'll make you "register" by giving your email address before they let you in, but that just means they'll send you emails with promotional rates when they discount rooms during soft weeks and such. Camera #3 is a street level view of the walkway out front of the IPs main pedestrian entrance on LV Blvd, and it often has fine views of working girls strolling by. Prime viewing starts around, oh, right about now, and I've spotted several likely prospects in the time I've been typing this, even though it's cold out now. One of them was shivering in a pink halter top and wearing bunny ears as she went by.

IP is a cruddy hotel compared to those around. Nothing horrible though. Average Travel Lodge quality I guess. Cheap gaming though. For ho's you fortunately have some good options as long as you are willing to put in a little effort and spend at least $$. While you will not find cg's in IP very often, you will find them within a 5 minute walk, and they will come back to your room with you. There is also a karoke bar in front of IP(walk out the front entrance and across the driveway into the other building you see) and there are often cute women there.

This assumes weekends. If you are looking mid week, it will be very hit aned miss. The best time for girls is after 2am, maybe a little later. Lots out in front of Flamingo. I've also seen some walking through Harrahs. Anyway, if I were you I would head out of IP and down to BC. Cross the street and cruise through Bellagio and head back the same way. Should find something you will like. BTW, although you may find a $ or $.5 bargain, it is unlikely and I would not expect it. Under no circumstances should you expect anything under $. There are no low end crack ho's out here.

My luck in Las Vegas is definetly changing for the better. I posted last month about a gem I found on Boulder Highway, well lightening can and does strike twice once in a while. Sally was right where I found her last month and was very happy to see a familiar face. I asked her to come with me back to the Stratosphere where I was staying and she replied she would have to meet me later as she had an appointment. Thinking that was the end of that, I moved on continuing to hunt Boulder highway for that rare young and hungry sweetheart that I have found on rare occasions in the past few years. I stayed at Harrahs 2 or 3 months ago, there were plenty all along that stretch from harrahs south along strip. Been planning a stay at IP myself as Harrahs security wouldn't allow "visitors".

More like 20 or 30 girls, at least on some nights. One time I had been playing poker at Mirage(only $10-20 limit holdem game in Las Vegas on regular basis), but staying at Luxor. I stayed at the Mirage in November and was very disappointed. The casino is being remodeled and the pickings are slim. The Bacarrat Bar in the middle of the casino always had 4 or 5 girls hanging around and security never bothered them. Now the bar is gone and so are the girls. I did find a few around the phones by the elevators from time to time and actually picked up one in the bar next to the sports book, but it took up a lot of time. Always before you could cruise the Bacarrat Bar anytime day or night and hook-up. If it's not too late to change hotels, I would do so.

dreamt I finally got my vegas cherry popped. Been going to vegas for many years, learning lessons the hard way about strip clubs, etc. I finally found this newsgroup a few years back and had some good times in the Georgia - Alabama area.
