Burners, fake emails and name are table stakes. The problem is in sharing pics with a potential SB on Seeking. That's when I've had problems. All potential SBs want to see a pic before a meet & greet. That's how I've been I'd'd and subsequently threatened w blackmail. One workaround for me is using a pic that's a close depiction of me before meeting. It sometimes is hard to overcome when a SB realizes she's been duped, but once they see I'm acceptable looking and I explain why, it seems to go ok.

I do not know what happened to him, but I also loved reading his posts. His posts and escapades were the best. He did resurface for a very short while after he left the area and quit posting. In my mind I wondered if he came into a chuck of money or won a small lottery jackpot and lived the good life and fucked every girl on the boards until the money ran out. He was a hoot.

I have, for the past twenty years, been fortunate to never encounter this. However, that isn't just good luck. I always use a burner. I have had so many I can't even remember. I use anonymous email and have never given a provider my last name (and only in certain cases have I given my actual first name). If a provider requires screening that involves breaking these rules, I move on to another. My mongering activities and my real life have never intersected. I was a lurker on this forum for a few years before I joined (same with internationalsexguide and argentinaprivate where I have more posts). I don't ever see providers at my home or within a reasonable distance of my home town. I hope to keep this streak going.

Anyone got a semi-threatening text from someone who claims you wasted his girls time? I often will decline to meet at the lower end motels but usually respond saying so. This text came in from a different number and stated they were assessing me a "fee" for the time I wasted and I could get in to trouble, etc. It was somewhat disturbing.

I've received these a few times too. Mine came from conversations I was having on SA. They are threatening and disturbing, especially if you are married and have a lot to lose from someone contacting your family. The number one rule is to NEVER respond at all. If they're unsure that you actually receive their messages they will move on. If you respond and try to negotiate with them, they know that you're concerned and are willing to pay. Just ignore and 99% of time they'll move on to a softer target.

Most of the fake STG ads will try this last effort to get money from you. Delete the message and block the number. Had the cartel reach out to me demanding similar BS.

Yep. Got something similar about a year and a half ago along with some pretty graphic pics. Just block them.
