FWIW. Just a quick "what I do". I usually call them half way there and say, what exit is that on. (or something like that) just to see if they answer the phone and I should continue on the trip. If no answer its probably going to be the same when you get there.

I was planning to see her again soon. She may have turned into a flake. I will report back once I do. I had a similar experience with somebody else (oddly named Jazz 847 287 3602). I was like a block away and had the no answer thing. She called me back like an hour later to apologize and said she fell asleep. Never did reschedule.

Like I said, I will report back once I try to see the original Jazzie again.

I drove the 30 minutes or so, pulled up near the place and called her. Rang a few times, then voice mail. Waited about 5 minutes, tried again, same. Waited longer, tried again, straight to vmail. This went on for like what. 45 minutes? Finally I sent her a text that if she can reach me before I got on the expressway, I'd turn around. Never heard from that dingbat again. I would have preferred that she just hung up on me. I swear in the last 5 times I tried to go out. 3 have had me drive all the way to their place, then flake on me. I am sick of it.

I hobby because I hate wasting my precious down time. All this bullshit is really putting me off the whole scene. And I do my homework, the ones that have flaked on me have gotten decent to good reviews. Then I see them posting all the time. WTF? If you flake out, you burn bridges. I will never let these idiots burn ME again.
