I'm visiting Chicago later this week, will be staying in Villa Park. Usually when I come in to Chicago I'm at Donald E. Stephens Convention Center, and go to Lisunia's (sp?) on Harlem for their VIP treatment. However, I'm looking for something closer, say in the Lombard area. I see that Lane's is very close to where I'm staying, but the reviews on here are so-so.

I would appreciate any feedback on MPs. Feel free to PM if you feel more comfortable. I'd be happy to return the favor if you are in the Quad Cities.

Welcome to the land of YMMV. In that area, mediocrity is king. You may want to try Wellness Spa or Garden Spa on Ogden. I think they're both in Westmont, but Garden might be in Downers Grove. I tried Garden once and it was OK. I've had some decent sessions at Wellness, but that could be because they recognized me from another spa. Ace (on Ogden in Downers) can also be a good time, but I've had some bad times there as well. I've seen a couple decent reviews of King's (also on Ogden) lately, but those reviews are in the minority.

Other than that, you are bound to find some apartment setups in that area which are almost certainly a sure thing for $160. There are a lot of them listed on the Chicago After Dark website.

If you're looking for European in that area, you're pretty much SOL unless you're looking for strictly legit therapeutic (you're on this board so I'm guessing that's not what you're looking for).

For the whole nine yards, you can try Chicagoland Yellow Pages. Search for massage in Downers Grove.

Visited recently as well. It scared me to death when the door was answered by a 4' 2" 60 year old asian woman with rubber dishwashing gloves on!

I was willing to risk there was something better around the corner so I paid the $70 and went in. Massage was great! The other woman working may have been in her early 40s but the ending made things all worth it. $50 for any additional service seemed excessive but she allowed my hands to roam freely and was very into her job.

I will visit again soon.

I'm not in that area too often, had some cash and thought "how old can those ladies be there anyway?". So I stopped in and found out. When I saw her I was thinking right off the bat just enjoy the massage and don't even bother with any extras. I'm not a good judge of age but she was easily 50. But I did get a good table shower and a very good massage. On the flip she didn't give me any choice, went right for the lotion and went at it. It was pretty good but I kept my eyes closed and didn't bother groping at all. She was very nice; sorry I didn't ask her name since I probably won't be back. I prefer them a little younger than me.

Went to King's last Thursday. Used to go there quite often back in the day (1+ years ago), was always a reliable place for a nice massage and some decent fun. This time was a pretty lackluster massage, no extras whatsoever.

Probably won't go back, for $70 I can get a real massage that actually helps my back if I want to.

You probably need to re-establish yourself there. The same girls who worked at King's a year ago have moved on to other places. It's still a good place but they may need to get to know you. I've never had trouble there even when it was my first time with the new manager and girls.

Well that kind of depends on who you get and what you want. Younger at King's. Older at Lane's but the right lady makes all the difference. At Lane's younger IS NOT better.

This place was terrible. Distant table shower, pointless sauna, and 10 minute massage with full clothed attendant who made efforts to keep me covered. Stay away.

I had a good time at Garden and it was my first time. They seem very very cautious and given the area they are in I can understand why. I guess the only thing you can do is either go again so they know you or try another place on Ogden. There are plenty to choose from.
