I could be wrong but we have a GOP House and Senate and a GOP President. It seems to me the conservatives are pushing this agenda. You may want to read some of what the US VP thinks about such matters.

Posts: 134Freaking ridiculous, but in other matters.
This needs to happen right now:
"But it's also interesting to see that sex workers are continuing to fight this -- including reports of a Google Doc making the rounds where sex workers can expose members of Congress who have used their service"
https://www.techdirt.com/articles/20...iticians.shtml
But in matters that really matter. Has anybody ever heard of Chelsie (maybe Sophia?) out of Ohare?A Digits starting with 219? Can't decide if to take the plunge or not for a franklin. If anybody has any intel, let me know.

There are some bigger questions we should be asking. Large businesses break the law every day and the government says they are too big to fail. At Wells Fargo, employees were creating fake accounts? Has anyone been arrested? Facebook was misusing private info. Anyone shutting them down or arresting anyone? Big colleges cheat for athletes and no one is shutting them down. Crime at the federal level is a way of life. Why in this country do we have such a hangup about consensual sex? Oh, that's right, it spreads disease. Then why don't we outlaw sex since that happens with people not involved in prostitution, like guys and girls that barhop? It encourages drug use and other cromes since they are all on drugs. Why is their private habits our fault? You mean drug abuse woild go away if we stopped having sex with them? It breaks up families. I'm not married. Oh, that's right, there is no cheating except for guys doing prostitues. Maybe some federal nitwit can explain to me why this is such a big deal when we have much bigger crimes ruining people's lives every day and no one gets arrested for them. Don't even get me started on the lical level. Dart can't control his jail. Chicago can't stop carjackings or gangs selling drugs and shooting innocents. But they are making the streets safe from consenting adults.

Posts: 33List of FOSTA / SESTA Fallout
Probably not anywhere near a complete list, but you get the idea. Got a laugh out of the Amazon one even if it was only a glitch on their part (timing is everything).

I guess with net neutrality a thing of the past things like this are inevitable.

Hopefully the classifieds will catch on, the Chicago section is a bit light.

I first cut my teeth on massage classifieds almost 20 years ago, perusing the Chicago Reader ads. Now they've had their wings clipped, too.

escortfiles.com is "Parked" so any girl who had an ad site hosted by them now has no ad site. Seems like plenty of places are covering their ass now. If anyone has any idea how to find some good stuff let me know.

Posts: 287I don't see how this is constitutional. These sites simply allow men and women to meet each other. The fact prostitution takes place has nothing to do with them. If I happen to meet a sex trafficker in a bar and we make a deal right there should the bar be legally liable? Its ridiculous.

Almost all the sites I go to are offline or under maintenance.
Glad I got my bullpen locked in.

A lot of go to monger sites are crumbling down very fast.
This is a huge blow to freedom of speech. Expect to see agency prices shoot up crazy and implement a even more tougher screening process to get to play! This is Sad!
