Had been getting emails and texts from a couple hobbies regarding the shutdown. Glad the site is back up. F*ck gov overreach!

That being said, how are you guys holding up? Any new sites / resources to report?

I've simoly maintained a couple old friends. Kicking the tires. New action here and there. Nothing too crazy to get excited about.

I found that a lot of the girls talked about http://onebackpage.com/ on social media. I noticed that a lot of the backpage girls and AMPs have listings there. I saw the Chinatown apt from Pershing and Western there.

I was smiling when I saw the new links go up on Twitter. It is like the world is almost returned to normal. The idea that this site and the main ad sites would ever be shut down by the morality police was unthinkable. CL shutting down the adult turned out to be the tip of the spear. Makes me want to stop in at my local adult bookstore, buy a few of the nastiest mags they have and send them to the assholes who voted for that law.

This inspires me to get in the car later tonight or tomorrow and go find some SW just so I can post something to thank you guys.

When the site went away, it felt like a lot of good friends had died, particularly the guys I had PM'd with fairly regularly, but with whom I had no other means of contact.

I stay in hotels. Traveling so definitely not surfing at home in mega high speeds!

From the hotel, it crawls. Yet CNN loads pretty fast. Either way, domain name sucks, specially if you want to be found in google.

Anyway, from a business perspective, I would have my business listed as, mybusiness.com, and not mybusiness110. wixsite.com.

Off topic, but geez, that site crawls! 1999 is calling! Hosting your own domain is not that expensive; about 30 dollars yearly fee for hosting cost, maybe cheaper; domain is about 12 bucks a year, and you can create a site with wordpress templates, which can be free if you don't want some overpriced web developer. For less than 50 a year, you would have a professional site, fast running site. And it might even show up on google search!

I've got comcast high speed and it loads as fast as the NYTimes.
