I remember when it was reported that Mercedes died inside the Discreet Motel.

I didn't know Mercedes. I may have met her once, though, because the name sounds familiar, but I can't be certain.

Anyway, a long time ago, I knocked on the Discreet's door. While I was standing in the little closed foyer, I heard a voice on the other side of the door yell several times in a loud, mean voice "Customer! Customer!" To me it seemed he was trying to rouse somebody (Mercedes, I think) to the foyer. He repeated "Customer! Customer!" several times, quite angrily.

When I heard Mercedes had died inside the Discreet, I could only think about this guy, who I never saw. He sounded very mean.

I am here in Cincinnati, Ohio and wanted to know if the Pink Slip Strip Club is still open.

Man I had the "BEST TIME" there. I have been there about 9 times over since about 1995, but I have NOT been back since 2001 or 02.

It was worth the 5-6 hour drive, or the hour flight.

I learned to stay in Collinville instead of St.Louis Mo. Only when I come in by Airplane did I stay out near Linburg airport.

You could do the Girls right in the Club, and outside the cops never hassled anyone. And are the other Strip Clubs still there. Are they still worth going to. A few SW's walked the area during the night. Most were miles before you get to the railroad track. They would flash you as you drove by. That will get them noticed.
Around the tracks is where the fags are, and I stay far from there.

You are reasonably safe in the parking lot during the day this time of year. I wouldn't park there at night during the warmer months. I wouldn't recommend walking from Popeye's unless you the type of guy that loves adventure and danger. Be prepared to have the East St. Louis Police Department stop you and ask why you are in the area. By the way, one of my dates recommended asking the people behind the counter if any girls are available. They know that all of them are prostitutes anyway. That's why they charge you $10 to visit a girls room for one hour. I still refuse to do a date in the place but have no problem driving by just to see who might be there.

I heard another twist on the Melissa story. I dated a girl today that says Melissa was given some bad drugs and died from poisoning. She claimed that some guy has been arrested. I still have not seen anything in the papers.

security cameras trained on the back parking lot of the Royal Inn
are gone. No more security cameras after the Inn reopened.
I did see one car parked in the Inn's lot and an HWP black man
hanging outside in that back lot. I don't know if he was renting
a room there, just smoking, or what.

How safe do you think a car would be parked in that lot? Does
the Inn have a watch guard? Next time I come to town, I'll
have to poke my head into the infamous Royal Inn just to see
what it's like. I hope the reopening has improved it. I won't book
a room there, but I am curious to see the inside, and if any ladies
are hanging around.

What I'll probably do is park my car in the Popeye's Chicken
parking lot and walk the one block to the Inn to see if any
ladies are about, and briefly see what the inside is like.

Hello all,

New to the board. Just found it. Stupid me! Was on the old C. L. Board that shut down. Good to see you here Rosco. Made the E. Side roll yesterday afternoon early seemed a little slow? Have not been over there in a couple months to be honest. Been a little busy. Last time I was over that direction found WSW on Exchange named Red. Did a very nice BBBJCIM. Was actually hoping to find her again. Well good to be here and look forward to learning. Miss Mr. Snuuze from the old C. L. Board. Was like a YODA for a guy like me who was trying to figure this out. Guy like wrote a book teaching some of us. Again, good to see everyone. Have to go up in that area tomorrow. See whats out on a Sunday.

It was the county sheriff's department that made the stop, not East St. Louis police or state troopers. The County Sheriff--we haven't heard them mentioned here before.

Actually, it was a county sheriff's deputy who made the September 14 stop on I-64 eastbound near the 25th Street exit back here.

After the deed, took her to the store and she got back into the car with lottery scratch offs.

Gena is on a scratch-off kick lately. When she bought two with me, I thought she was wasting her money, but she won $6, good for a chicken dinner and a Bic lighter.

(Note: this is the girl whose name usually gets spelled Jenna on this board because it's pronounced that way, but it's really spelled Gena.)

Dropped her off on 25th street. This area was new to me, so I have to study yahoo maps on this one.

That area is unfamiliar to a lot of us, but it's pretty well-lit and civilized. 25th Street between St. Clair and State has a gas station, a McDonald's, a strip mall, etc.

I received the bad news from a different reliable source on Tuesday, but computer problems prevented me from accessing this site until now. The version I got was that her throat was slit rather than that she was strangled, but either way, rest in peace.

Made a trip about 11:30 pm south on CR and saw two slim wsw on Lake Ave and a heavy set bsw in the middle of the other lane at CR and Winstanley Ave waving at cars. A car had to use the median to get around her. Saw another bsw standing at the Exchange intersection.

Made my loop around and picked up Gena on Lake Ave. I asked about the other sw that was standing out with her. Gena said her name was Lisa and that she did not know much about her.

After we got on CR south, I pulled up behind a semi that I thought was at the Exchange intersection. The truck was just sitting there not moving. I did not think anything about it at first. Then I made my move to go around the semi and at the same time I heard "GET OFF THE TRUCK" loud and clear from a loud speaker. Scared the Sh_T out of me, damm LEO was behind me in a unmarked white car, and he was talking to the crazy bsw that was in the middle of the road earlier and now was standing on the semi's driver foot step talking to the driver. The semi was about 100 feet short of Exchange intersection. Gena thought she had heard "Get OUT THE TRUCK" and had got scared. Well we left the area by interstate and the semi left the area without LE stopping him. LEO did pull over and talked to the bsw that Gena later told me was Nikki.

Well found a spot and got a nice bbbjcim. She took her time too. She seems like a nice person. After the deed, took her to the store and she got back into the car with lottery scratch offs. If we get any online news at all about Melissa it will most likely be from the Belleville News Democrat.

The Obituaries section says that she died on December 2nd in the Belleville Hospital. I couldn't find any mention of foul play associated with her death.

That's horrible news. I never met Melissa, but I'm shaken deeply. That's so sad. She was so young, from the photos. I hope the cops get on it, and nail the killer.

Lousy killers should rot in jail for decades.
