Have used the TextNow app for years as an alternative to a burner phone. Yesterday I tried to log in and it said my account had been disabled for violation of their terms of use. In the past when I was much more active, especially with the sugar babies sites, nudes would be traded, etc. Over the last 6 months to a year however, I've literally only used it enough to keep the same phone number active. I've texted a couple traveling providers about rates and schedule, nothing crazy at all. It gave me the option to appeal, which I did, but haven't heard anything as of yet. Has this happened to anyone else? I know that app is popular in the hobby. Thanks!

Not sure about this app but I know others scan phone number use for illicit / dangerous / illegal contacts, easy database comparison, mostly for terrorism activity but I am sure all illegal activities would flag.
