I will say it probably a scam or an attempt to extort from you. This bring me to a few additional points:

1. Why would anybody use their real phone number to conduct this sort of business is just beyond me. It is just pure dumb. There are so many burner phone or apps out there to get a "new number".

2. The incoming number lookup does not mean shit. There are so many apps and tools out there which allow you to fake the number of calls which might be originated from. Telemarketers do it all the time.

So, go ahead ignore it and move on.

I'm not a lawyer, but I think the general consensus is to never answer questions if you're a suspect. I wouldn't necessarily avoid answering the phone, but I would ask them why they're calling right away. Police don't normally call suspects on the phone to question them, so it might be unrelated. I would not answer it. If Uncle LEO had something on you they would come get you. If you talk to them and you lie, which you will to protect yourself, then you will be on their radar. Who is the provider so others on here who might see her can be more careful?

No, but I had them come to my home once, the day after seeing an escort. When I wouldn't invite them in or answer questions, they refused to tell me why they were there and left. Never heard anything after that.
