I use Talkatone. You can get a number with a 901 area code, and can either keep it forever as long as you use it once a month, or burn it for a new number as desired.

I use 2. My favourite is text now because I genuinely enjoy the interface. I use burner time to time when contacting new providers etc to see if I like them. Both mask your number. Both are free.
