In Houston if police bust you for prostitution you'll go to jail. What happens next depends on if it's your first offense, how good your lawyer is etc.

My buddy got divorced in Houston & assets were split 50:50 & even though they were married for over 20 years he pays no alimony. I know in other states he'd have to pay a chunk of money to her every month. I'm not sure what you mean by IL divorce laws being bad: do you mean they're more in favor of the wife?
