Traveling through your great state, I was pulled over by a statue. I was going 60 in a 40 as I missed a sign that lowered the 55 to 40. I never saw the statue and by the time he pulled me over the speed limit was 30 and I was going the speed limit. I think the Trooper believed me because (as mentioned) I was going the speed limit before he pulled me over in the 30 mph zone. BUT. There is an obscure non-moving violation on the books (JUST IN NY) that you are not allowed any "stickers" on your back window as it is considered obstruction of your view. So he gives me a break on the speeding violation, but hits me with $150 violation for having two small decals on the back window. I live 3 plus hours away from the court I would have to appear in if I wanted to fight it. The Trooper looked about 12 and I'm wondering if he just graduated from the academy and it was the one violation he remembered from his schooling.

Pissed me off needless to say. Sounds like a money generator as EVERYONE has a sticker on the back window.

It's a money grab. My buddy was stopped on NY Thruway for doing 68 in a 65 at midnight (there were no other cars on the road and he actually thought the cop was heading to an accident until he pulled behind him. He said "I'll give you a break and write you up for a broken speedometer. Same fine but no points on your license. " Funny, was $150 also.

I and some of you have been experiencing recent access issues / timeouts trying to reach this USA site.

I assume "the management" has added more web security that checks IP Address black lists.

If you are having issues, determine your devices IP Address and then see if there are hits on any black lists. Easy web search to find web sites that can provide both of these inquiries.

So what do you do to get around the black list? I assume trying to remove from a list is not worth the effort.

The first question should be why is the IP address black listed?

If it is a desktop / laptop with home wifi, this IP Address should not change much at all. You computer maybe compromised. If you are not a cybersecurity fanatic, time to start.

Are you using a VPN? Are you using a TOR Router / Browser?

A lot of hackers will use these privacy networks and thus many of the IPs will quickly get black listed. These privacy mechanisms should provide an ability to change Identity / IP address, you may need to try a few of them.
