So a couple days ago some guy from (203) 658-6963 calls my number 3 times in a row. On the last call he leaves a message saying he is from the FBI: We need to ask you some questions regarding a criminal investigation on prostitution.

I searched the number and it looks like it's a VOIP number in Stamford. I didn't call the guy back and I abandoned the Google voice number immediately. My guess it was just a scammer (like the IRS ones I get often) but it was enough to shake me for a minute. Anyone else get a call like that? S.

USPhonebook.com put the number in there It is a reverse I'd See what you come up with for a name an address.

I tried a bunch of reverse lookups and nothing has come up on the number. I also used a Google number that is accessed through 2 vpns so even if true it will be hard to trace. I dumped the number right away and haven't had any contact otherwise since. Stay safe everyone.

Or they are spoofing the number, which seems to be the scammers latest tactic.

They will mask their real number with a number that you are more likely to answer.
