The only good thing is it is close to where I work and during the day it is good to throw down a few bucks and see a few "naked chicks". Not much bang for your buck.

Hello I was wondering if there is any action in Northern CT?? I was in Springfield recently and it is hot and heavy with LE, I saw Missy and she looks really bad...it is too bad because she had some really good oral skills.

According to an article in the Hartford Courant, the Infra Red in Kensington has lost it's license to have strippers and is being sold.
The locals are trying to keep it from re-opening as a strip club.

Posts: 66I'll give it a go since I'm not too far and let you know
Rockstar?? It must be the old Patio. Wasn't there a post a long while back about the Patio being sold and renamed this Rockstar somewhere on our boards? I'll check it out if I can this weekend and let you know. The Patio offered some good times late night before closing but hit or miss. During the day there was usually only 1 dancer and she would come on and off stage all afternoon. A friend of mine's stag party had the back room reserved there not too long ago. Let me get their feedback on it as well.

Posts: 2025I read about the joint somewhere recently. Positive words so far, but no mention of extras...but who knows.
I -beleive- the joint is the former Patio, which was a decent little strip joint with a LD area as laughable as Venus.
Thinking about checking it out mid march (which is just a few short weeks away already!)

I drive through Willimantic almost every day, and I haven’t seen anything worth stopping for in almost a year.

Posts: 1300I did a drive through in Willmantic a couple weeks ago. It was late afternoon and I did not see anything to spur me to come back or loop around.

Hey Hot ROdd,
RE: Willimantic streets, no clue.
I've purposely stay out of Willimantic and only the strip club drew me across that town line again. I've been reading and hearing stories about the excessive zeal of the Willimantic female police chief. Hell, the town put up an expensive costly battle with tax payer money just to keep free speach (strip club) out of town.
Next time I am in the area, I'll do a drive through...see whats further down Main and slinking about for pickup.

If a politician goes on a crusade, it is based on his or her own misguided emotions, or wrongly thinking the complaint of a voter is representive of the community. When resources (LE) are deployed, victims are made of us and our ATFs. This is bad enough in itself, but the resources who overdo their jobs are very often customers of these and neighboring AMPs. Down in my part of CT, it's no secret the Norwalk cops go to Stamford AMP's and the Stamford cops go to Norwalk. In some cases, they don't even make the effort, as Korean gals I know and trust have stated that cops who busted their place were full service customers only days before.
What is worse is that federal, state and local budgets are actually increasing to pursue the category of business we frequent. The new lie is that there is human trafficking and slavery in these places. I see no slavery here, and I certainly see no correlation between the Mimis of the AMP world and the real threats this country faces. Yet natiowide, an aggregate army of men (wages, benefits, vacation time, retirement pensions, worker's comp, uniforms, weapons, vehicles, admin support, communication technology, office space.......) get up each day and focus some of their time staking out and catching Mimi in the act. Meanwhile, nearly 53 months after 9/11, the same 4 percent of containers entering the USA from abroad are searched for anything.
Last week I read about a test in the Nevada desert yielding mixed results in recognizing nuclear or biological material in containers. With a $2 Trillion federal budget, and arguably the greatest technology infrastructure in the world, we have not increased the ability to scan incoming containers by one percent.
This isn't right wing nor left. It's sick. If and when the next t*rrorist attack takes place, and I hope it does not, there is no question the monies spent pursuing the oldest profession will have been misallocated.
I appreciate the time you took to write your post, Wanderer, as I know we mongers are a pretty busy and hard working bunch. We are also very underrepresented. After all, who among us is going to stand on a soapbox and argue in favor of what we do, or against cops handcuffing spinners? Maybe some beat writer or talking head will see posts like yours and get some ideas. We cannot expect to alter public perception overnight, but we might at leat be able to stress priorities.
