I was talking to someone who said they heard on good authority that there was a provider with handler who was luring guys to local motels on the Berlin Turnpike, and robbing them. She's lures them in the room, and the handler would come in and hold them while they were robbed and debit cards taken and used, some going right to an ATM and withdrawing funds while the guy was being held hostage. From what I was told the two were caught because of their stupidity after they robbed the guys, but there's more out there just like them pulling the same stunts.

Yes in the news thread here someone posted the story from, the courant. Think that is nothing new just here at least the guy reported it and the girl and pimp got arrested. First thing I always do is ck bathroom and such, altho how much good that would do if there a guy in there with knife I don't know. Got to be smart about things, stay away from totally new providers etc etc. Stay away from the steadier places, altho that one robbery I think was at the fiesta which is far from the worst one. For a while there a few years ago there was a woman advertising as I believe her cousin but forget name she was using and is long gone. One possibility you didn't mention is that she became a guest of the state. Has been known to happen.
