They replaced the carpeting, updated the lighting, re-upholstered the seats, and are working on re-doing the sound buffering to the walls.

It would just suck if they spend all that time and money and Hartford stops them from re-opening! That would be a true tragedy.

I saw the GoFundMe that Ernie posted. The repairs to that building needed to be done years ago, hopefully they'll be deemed safe by the powers that be in Hartford and they get the go to re-open ahead of schedule. And I also hope they have used all this free time to fumigate the chairs and replace the carpeting.

I was in there the other day to buy some novelties. I asked about the ladies. She told me that they had to temporarily close the back room due to an issue with the fire marshal. That has since been resolved but I was told the ladies / strippers have since moved on.

I went around lunch time recently. There was some action going on but not the kind I want. No strippers / dancers.

Anybody know what's going on with the Skip the Games website? Last week they had the persistent error messages, now the searches come up empty: "Hmmm, we couldn't find anything. Please try a less specific search."

I know they had to move the hosting, but it appears to be powered by hamsters who keep falling off the wheel.

Ok. Well someone just PM'ed me explaining the deal at LUV. So if you were into The Art then you should move over to LUV. I am not into this stuff as it is truly an "Anything Goes" between consenting adults but this individual explained to me this is a 'scene' that started at The Art but since that place is gone people are now setting up 'events' at LUV? He did tell me if I am not familiar with 'the scene' he understands why I ran out of there. All I can say is there were a few uh. Maybe they were dressed like women? In the lot that asked me about what was happening in the back and I just said "I have no idea man I'm not into this stuff" and they laughed and said 'no big deal have a nice night". Friendly people for sure but. GameBird this might be something you are looking for. Your term "Playtime" was used with me when I was leaving when a decent looking fun girl (tons of tatts and piercings incredibly friendly / outgoing) asked if I was interested in playing. Given the amount of testosterone flowing right out in the open for the world to see I declined and left. If anyone else would like to elaborate what 'the scene' is, please do. Didn't realize there is a scene!? Not even sure what that means.

We would play in the Balcony. Sometimes with other couples. Watch the movie for a bit. Gets us revved up, then the fun begins. Is it supposed to reopen, as the website says?
