Good suggestion but sometimes providers treat google numbers like blocked numbers.

Good tip. In addition to that, there are also plenty of discount phone providers there if looking for a very cheap (like $5 a month) barebones plan for a burner phone.

Just stating the fact. Not passing judgement on the wisdom of the decision. But what does it matter to the people in these forums? It's not like they all stopped mongering during the lock downs.
