Just came across this thread and figured I'd add something. There's this app called Feeld that's not bad, but admittedly it's better if you travel often since you can set your location to a couple of big cities such as Chicago, New York, LA, etc, but you aren't able to set your location to just anywhere, only those preset cities.

The app itself is basically is a fetlife version of tinder. There weren't too many options in the Cincinnati area before I ran out of options, but because I wouldn't want anyone local potentially recognizing me anyway, I set my location to another area. Also because you can set your location in another area, you might be able to get away with populating the app with pictures since the app says you can only be in one area at a time (so if I'm swiping in Toronto for example, I'll only be shown in Toronto and not my immediate area) so I think it would be a bit easier to be relatively discrete.

Outside of that, just got to be lucky in person. 80% of the FWBs I've had in my life were just being at the right place at the right time at a bar or event something like that. Online anything in general is so difficult nowadays since you have to work so hard and be consistent.

What you have to do is get into salesman mode, and talk yourself up. And make small talk regarding current events. Ask what she was doing prior and give advice. You've got to be memorable to the point your the highlight of her day. Generally you have to buildup a certain amount of rapport before you can ask.

The only online tactic I've seen that actually works is Facebook Groups. You would make a post requesting some type of ordinary service (watching Pets, house cleaning, catering) and monitor the responses for someone who is clearly desperate. Facebook Groups are the new and improved version of Craigslist -theres damn near a group for every township in Cincinnati so you know that person is within a certain radius. Not to mention, females are alot more comfortable because they can somewhat "screen" you although you could totally use alias / fake info and none are the wiser.

I did meet a lady at a bar once she approached me and solicited me. That was a great fling. But in general I agree with you out and about, I've had free hookups that way. I used to use plenty of fish for free hookups but its just garbage anymore, I prefer meeting face to face.

Brothers, while I'm sure a great deal of us are content seeking providers via the usual means, I know some of us like to hunt or use more creative methods. Especially since some of us are seeking partners on the down low.

Tinder. I have minimal luck here as I try to be discreet.

FetLife. I have pretty good luck here but it's a mixed bag and lots of work.

Whisper app. Used to be pretty good but AWFUL as of late.

Reddit. Extremely variable. Sometimes I find a golden opportunity, sometimes no fish bite.

Doublelist. Pretty sure this is mostly for gay guys. There's probably 3 women for every 200 men.

Kik groups. Never had a single bit of luck. Got close once though.
