It's a commonplace that when you talk to a mamasan or a provider they say, "business is really slow." Now it could be true, or it could be due to their own purposes. What say you? My personal experience is that the economy has improved significantly: I have been in rooms and heard the greeter turn people away. I tend to think that those who say they can't improve service "due to the economy" may not be telling the whole story. My sense is that it is not the economy but their own business priorities that are in play here.

I heard that about two weeks ago from my favorite provider. It was right after the recent busts, so I figured it may be true at that time.

Sorry to take up Guide space with this, but I wanted to reach all my local monger friends and readers, and not have this get lost in General file.

The economy is killing me-I'm actually facing homelessness come Aug. 1st. While I'm doinng everything I can to help myself and have several irons in the fire, some quick cash or help with a real job would be a God-send about now. I know everyone is hurting, but I'm up for anything (nearly) to make the rent. Just a few days or even hours of work. My background is in office suport, but I've done retail, restaraunt, warehouse, light industrial, handyman and housekeeping work. If anyone can offer something, or help hook me up, you know how how that would make me feel. Please PM me here with any thoughts so we don't continue to screw up this thread.

Ok I went to ventura's backpage and its so damn hard to figure out who's fake and who isn't. Does. Anyone have any good info on a great incall because I don't host and I want to expand my hobby into other sections besides MP's.
