Back when the old owner had Sahara (maybe 2 years ago) and before the economy crashed there were several girls who would go FS once you got to know them, and in many instances not charge more than the dances. Which could be expensive by themselves. Many of these girls were hispanic and based on my experiences south of the border figured this was inclusive of the job. However, in my experience the new owner and management have 'cleaned' the place up considerably which may have slightly improved the ambiance but has definately lowered the milage overall. As with everything in our hobby, YMMV on any given day with any given girl. The bird certainly is more predictable, if slightly lower quality.

I agree, the old owner was much better. Pretty much if he had plausible deniability he did not care what was going on. He used them as his personal stable for parties and Vegas runs. On Friday afternoons, sometime, he would roll up in a limo, come in and grab a few of the girls and they would be gone until Monday morning. I was told they got paid very good for their time.

Now, the new owners are trying to make it a "respectable" gentalmens club. Like we need more of those. They started a 0 talerence policy for the girls. When the new owners took over it seemed like half the girls got fired.

Oh well, at least we still have the bird and COI is not too far away.

Your friend is steering you right about the Bird. Each time I've gone the girls have been as friendly as I need them to be. The only issue is whether they'll have any kind of selection during any given shift. It can be sparse in that club - but that is really the norm for day shifts all over SoCal SCs. But each of the 5-6 times I've stopped in over the last 6 months or so I've found at least one girl I was happy to spend time with....usually a few desirable playmates. I haven't yet encountered a dancer who I didn't think gave me more than my money's worth in regular lap dances (they are cheap, and I don't do VIPs which cost more). I've been going to SCs for decades and that is really quite remarkable.

Yeah there is much better mileage to be found in L.A. v. OC stripclubs so the Bird is definitely an exception to the rule. I don't even want to wonder how they get away with it.

I noticed recently that another vintage OC club called Sahara is very close to The Bird at the State College intersection with Ball Road. I've heard some fuzzy info about Sahara having more hot girls on hand, slightly higher prices than The Bird, and the ultra mileage not as universally available. I just have a vet's hunch based on The Bird being what it has become, that another joint not a half mile away is probably trying to keep up with the mileage standard The Bird has set. Can anybody fill us in on what to expect at Sahara?

The place is a hole. I didn't like it when they served alcohol either. It's like a converted gas station. You are better off going to CG on Brookhurst on their drink special days. I've been there when there are some very friendly dancers. Not always the cream of the crop, but adequate.
