It's $.5 to get in. Tips are pretty much standard but I would add 10% - 20% because of the area if you go after 9 pm. It's literally a block from Huntington Harbor. But I haven't had a problem paying too much during the day.

Is it just the walking distance? Is there an an advantage to park close?

I mean, If it's a motel, apartment, anything where my car could be visible, I park quite a bit away and walk in.

I'll park a 1/2 mile or more away, just to get the lay of the land, clear my head and always can keep on walking past the door if I don't feel right about somehting.
