There are plenty of escorts who use email for contact. Listcrawler is like BP in that its mostly phone numbers but SkipTheGames, Eros, EroticMonkey, AdultLook, and others have ladies who advertise with email addresses. They may arrange things through email as far as screening, date, time, and general location but they are going want a phone number too. Most of the higher end ladies and others who screen hard are going want a phone number that traces back to your personal info. But I'm guessing if you're on USA looking for info on girls you're not going be messing with those ladies.

I think your suspicion makes sense. I know one girl that takes kpins like they're asperin. She is a zombie. But then again some people are cognitively deficient by nature. The answer is yes, she was on something. She was prolly disoriented from being stoned out from, hopefully, weed otherwise worse.
