A couple years ago I was working in Florida when Irma and Marie hit Florida (names? Some pointers. Get a few snacks, water and drinks. If you're at a major hotel they may serve food before and after the storm. Floridays sent their staff home to hunker down with family so service was non-existent for about 18 hours. We never lost power and we sat outside because it was nice out with the wind. The only regret was not having Diet Pepsi and our own water stash during the few hours we had to remain inside.
