WeChat people nearby absolutely sucks now compared to what it was a few years ago. You really need to be in Chicago to find anything. I do a lot of driving for work and yesterday not even 1 profile came up in Schaumburg. A few years ago you would get 7 or 8 profiles to pop up in Schaumburg. SaintChuck.

I have been using WeChat since 2015 and I used to pick up new friends all the time on WeChat people nearby. I would receive friend requests from strange old Chinese women and weird Chinese women trying to sell junk. I was always nice to them and never mentioned anything to them about sex because I knew that they were not working women. After a while they felt comfortable with me and would invite me into their group chats. A group chat can contain up to 500 people. Once you are a member of the group you now have access to a few hundred new people and you can send friend requests to other members in the group. If you are in a group chat with 300 people, you can bet your ass that a few of them are in fact working girls. I have met several women this way. I also became friends with a married Chinese woman that was simply looking for discrete hookup because her husband didn't pay any attention to her. I was more than happy to pay attention to her. LOL. Even if you become WeChat friends with a woman that isn't a spa worker it could still end up being a good contact to have. SaintChuck.

You are 100% correct, the WeChat ID doesn't mean anything. It only means that they didn't pick their own ID so WeChat gave them an ID that most likely starts out WXID. So basically you can only use people nearby and add friend through a group chat to add new friend unless you know their WeChat I'd or cellphone number used to register WeChat.

You can randomly find users by going to "discover" and select "people nearby". Most users in the hobby use WeChat to contact / communicate with girls with future potential.

I went back to check and yea, a third of the girls ids are wxid. Still, you'd think at least 1 would be a real chick trying to make some extra money. You think maybe there's a secret signal to put out to let them know LOL.

I'm seeing new friend requests almost everyday, nice pictures, and perfect English. I spoke with one very briefly and like you said it was just small talk. The rest I've ignored. Only one had a location of Chicago and the rest had location of United States. All had what looks like some sort of default I'd weixin_ and a bunch of numbers. Not sure what their game is.

If you don't go to AMP's then there is basically no reason for you to download WeChat. You are going to need to go to an AMP just to get your WeChat account verified. I am not sure if you have done research on WeChat. The app is used by Mongers that frequent AMP's because it is a way to bridge the language gap and keeping contact with the girls. SaintChuck.

I get the same bs out of instagram. These supposedly very hot early 20 something women just following me out the blue and if I follow them back here comes the messages. I can tell English is not their first langauge but it's a pic of an American girl. I've played around when I was bored but I never got far enough for them to try to scam me. Sounds like wechat is the same formula.

So I've had wechat before but never really used it besides a couple times. Seeing all this talk made me want to try again and damn it's different, I'm being bombarded with requests and chats. I've chatted with some girls waiting to get hit with a menu or scams at least but its just been small talk, some just corny as hell. So, my question is how long does it take for them to bring it up? Or at least a way for me to lead them to bring up a menu? Thanks in advance.
