Is there a reason why this site is not secure?

Time to get out my tinfoil dunce cap and state the obvious, no site is secure. Most governments and some criminal entities can hack any website. I don't care what security you use, if you are a big enough target they will find you.

There was discussion of it here with the admin about 5 years ago.

Basically, it boiled down to admin not seeing the value in an SSL cert for the site as you shouldn't be sharing any valuable data / info on the site.

Not sure I necessary agree with their conclusion at all, but at the very least, you have a answer now directly from the admin's mouth.

A clarification on the "protection" a VPN would provide:

Yes, a VPN would encrypt traffic between your endpoint and the VPN host. However, traffic between that VPN host and the "not secure" web server will still be unencrypted. Better than nothing? I suppose, but some folks may get the idea that a VPN is a substitute for end-to-end encryption and it is most certainly not. It will anonymize the client IP address the website sees your traffic coming from, and it will encrypt the traffic for half of it's travels, but that is all.

Good advice to separate your credentials from anything vanilla. Folks can also use incognito / private mode to help with what is retained on their endpoint.

I understand if you worry about your credentials being sent plaintext and intercepted. I usually don't log in unless to post and my username and password are nothing I use IRL.

If you do worry there are several FREE (always Free, not those that want you to sign up or anything) VPNs you could use to just access and read this site, or use when posting. I don't use them though for this site and actually don't use any VPN for this site. Also, for context, I spent 20 years in IT and around 10 as a programmer with an understanding of website security. I had several websites and used SSL even when it was just a dumb little joke site.

If you don't want VPN you can set up things on your PC or phone to make tracking you harder if that's your intention. MAC (the Machine Address, NOT Apple Computers) changers, browser user agent spoofing, new email address with little ties to you, new account here, DeGoogled Android phone, etc.

That is surprising because all the chatter is about Cebu. Maybe because of all that chatter you only had a 60% success rate. Never been to Bohol Province.

Cebu and Negros was great when I went.

For those not interested in my Asian adventures, sorry to bore you.

Spent almost 4 weeks in the Phils (late Jan -Mid Feb).

Toured 4 provinces, really found some nice spots.

Had 11 different Tourist Ambassadors (2 of them I hit twice).

All in the 7 plus range, none over 35 YO.

Cebu turned out to be kind of a bust, as 2 of the 5 I had scheduled flaked. Oh well did a lock of site seeing.

Bohol Province was the best for play, as it is a bit more remote and the providers are not as in demand.

The 13 encounters cost about 675-700 USD, as close as I can calculate.

Many of the girls think providing stellar service will translate into marriage and a USA Visa (LMAO)..

That is surprising because all the chatter is about Cebu. Maybe because of all that chatter you only had a 60% success rate. Never been to Bohol Province.

The 2nd of 2 to flake at Cebu was suppose to visit me at 10 AM, the day I was leaving for Bohol.

The 1st flake in Cebu, 2 days earlier wanted me to G Cash her 400 pesos (7. 10 USD) for Grab (Taxi) fare.

Never upfront $$ for anyone, for any reason.

Check out at noon. Had to catch the ferry boat at 1:30 PM.

She did message me that afternoon (4-5 pm?) Wanting to reschedule for the following morning.

Was already in Tagbilaran (Capitol City of Bohol).

The main tourist area of Bohol province is Danao, very beautiful sandy beaches and sky blue waters.

The city of Danao and beach area is about 25 miles south of Tagbilaran.

My encounters however where all in Taglibaran. 3 providers, one of which I hit twice, less than $200 all in for fun-LOL!

BTW, Bohol Province is home to a Tarsier habitat. Very tiny, 2-3 oz fully grown primates, with gigantic eyes-used for night hunting insects.

These little creatures are only found in 3 places world wide, with about 1,000 in existence.

Food, hotel (28 USD / night), providers, everything except gasoline ridiculously cheap.

Be safe and continue the hunt.

Yes, this actually happens all the time in some clinical settings. I would say skilled nursing facilities especially short term rehabilitation settings, it happens all the time. You have some cranky older dude that complains about everything and makes life difficult for the staff. The nursing assistants will jack off the ones who can get it up to keep them compliant. All the piss and vinegar, and cum, fly out the window after the deed is done.

So just be a cranky old dude? I got that covered. Can't wait till my SO puts me in a home, I'll finally get some relief.
