All this talk of guns what is everyone carrying?

Blue normal carry Kimber custom 45:

Ultra RCP II (LG), the smallest and most specialized .45 ACP concealed carry pistol ever offerd with Rosewood Crimson Trace Lasergrips.

Sometimes really old school Walther ppks, (James bond) . Ar 15 pistol as my trunk gun in the car or backpack.
    38 revolver sometimes. Just depends.

Blue truly believes in the Second Amendment ... protects an individual right to possess a firearm unconnected with service in a militia, and to use that arm for traditionally lawful purposes, such as self-defense.

Blue doesn't believe in the Reimagining any god given rights!

Monger safely. Few dollars not worth explaining while I'm with a crack ***** with my pants around my ankles; if I fear for my life, Well better to be judged than carried by 6.

    Blue.

Has anyone seen her or have any info? Please reply to this post or send me a pm as she seems legit but I'm cautious about it as she seems very eager to meet.

In short it is extremely difficult to remain truly anonymous to a determined adversary. Local yokel Ohio cops just don't be a dumbass and you are covered.
If a determined adversary with the resources of the DOJ has targeted you, you're already hosed and don't know it. The local cops are not going to bother to subpoena your ISP for your access logs here.

As seen in many many recent busts across the nation, you don't have to necessarily run faster than the bear, you just have to run faster than your buddy. I guess my overall point is don't think you are 100% covered using some minor anonymization. Depending on your own threat model you probably are fine. But if you ever draw down the wraith of the feds you will be in for a bad time unless you really really really know what you are doing. But for 99% of mongers you don't need that level of paranoia.

    You guys are the best!

Dfixx, RickMann, Tbobber and BamBam. This is fantastic! I really appreciate you guys chiming in with all this help. I'm grateful. I use Nord VPN on my PC and my personal phone. I'm thinking of replacing it though. It seems like it's been slowing down my PC recently and I've had to temporarily disable it a couple of times just going to regular sites like local movie theaters in order to get them to load. If you have to temporarily disable it, it's useless.

Anybody got suggestions on what they use?

RickMann. I think there are certain conditions under which MOST boards (even outside the US) will turn over data to US authorities. I'm not sure about this board. Even NordVPN has changed their TOS to include the possibility of turning over data, though their conditions are super strict. They used to flatly refuse to turn over data. The fact that they're not just refusing now is one reason I'm considering a move from Nord.

Old but 100% valid and on point. "Use Signal use TOR" or a VPN can but doesn't always work depending on your threat model. So one has to decide what exposure vs how much compartmentalization pain they can / will endure. Even having an account here with a long *cough Senior Member* trail is a decent risk. Risk vs reward is always in play.

VPN / network anonymization does add an additional layer of risk mitigation but if you have an identity tied to a long standing account, network layer risk mitigation does not help much. The story of how the feds took down Roberts and Silk Road is a good read.

LG or TCL or other models are all good and cheap. I use Tracfone. I also layer a texting app onto the smartphone. You start communicating on the app and then graduate the person to your "real" phone when trust has been built. TextNow is good. Although Google is definitely evil, GoogleVoice is a popular option. As for a little friend, none of the women a rookie should be seeing will warrant bringing 'help' along. If it feels at all risky, bail! If you stick to higher end, respectable providers, you have few worries about either safety or a catfish. However, if you ever feel catfished, you are always free to just walk away. Don't reward deceptive behavior! Finally, you never pay until the deed is done. Decent providers know this. You can show them the money but have it in an envelope and tell them it is not theirs until you both agree time is up. I have never had a problem with this approach.

A lot of the people offering advice are experienced mongers and sharing what they would do. Since you are not experienced, a lot of this will not apply to you. They are willing to venture into nether regions looking for different value. You make your own decisions. As for carry options, I have owned pocket 380's, Glocks and a Ruger. For any weapon to be useful, you have to practice with it. The lightweight 380's are just too much shock and recoil for me. (Not to mention stove-piping.) Glocks et al are a bit too heavy and bulky for summer carry (for me.) Most of you will never have heard of my first choice: Remington M51 semi-auto. You can find them chambered in. 32 and. 380 calibers. It is slim with just enough weight to absorb the lower recoil. I prefer the. 32 but ammo is easier to find for the. 380. I also support the person who said an accurate. 22 is just as deadly given faster time on target and superior placement.

    Just my $. 02.

    Left field comment

Re-reading a Carl Jung book's notes. Saying CJ was not into sexual indulgence, but attending to the body and instinctual vitality.

It also noted that humanity seeks out what Christianity suppresses. The natural urges of the body.

I wonder how many mongers have healthy sexual awareness, vs how many are in addictive patterns. I have certainly skirted the boundaries with this hobby, between healthy exploration, weekly, and the unhealthy, daily, in my humble opinion. Hopefully, the coming weeks and months might shed more light on the pedo-shadows of the elite / clergy, and rectify an imbalance that has led to the slavery networks around the globe, in human trafficking, as the extreme addictive boundary realm that it is a part of.

I'm checking out an app called Burner right now. Seems legit. 4.99/ month or 3.99/ month if you pay annually.
