The house parties and hotel takeovers I've been to tend to be very restrictive with single men. You have to know somebody who will vouch for your behavior.

Every party or club I've ever heard of welcomes single women, yet you're lucky if there are 3 extra women in a crowd of 100. Any place that gives open access to single men will quickly have 5 or more men for every woman, and most of the men will behave badly.

Once went to a club in Phoenix with my local girlfriend and another friend of hers. No single men allowed that night but one had shown up and the friend agreed to accompany him in, but he had to behave. Within 45 minutes he had nearly gotten us all thrown out and we had to have him tossed.

As a single man at a swinger party, you're a chocolate covered cockroach on the buffet. Maybe someone likes that sort of thing, but most want nothing to do with it. All you can do is smile, be incredibly polite and hope some couple takes an interest in you.

Since you shared I will take a trip back myself. My visit was to a nudist camp up in northern IN. I arrived after dark and had a little trouble finding it. Then when I entered the main office I started to go back to a check in at the desk and was rudely told to wait at the counter. Before going to my "cabin" I tried out the "clubhouse. " The visual short-circuited my brain and I just started walking here and there. Fortunately there stopped just short of a small shallow pool. WTH. Two more steps and I would have made the loudest splashiest entrance of the month and blown, change that to, uncovered my cover.

I'm not sure who runs them, but they also have swingers parties several times a year at the Clarion Waterfront Hotel near Speedway. I found out about it by accident one night, but they wouldn't let me in because single guys have to pre-register to prevent a sausage fest. It looked like a nice party though and they had rented out the entire hotel. Plus the fact that they wouldn't let me in tells me that they are definitely doing something right LOL!

Check out 15th street adult theater in Melrose Park IL. They have monthly couples parties. In Indy we have thought about visiting the club on East Michigan next to Woodruff Place, but haven't done it yet.

I know of several providers that swing Lacy is the most active. I was just invited to the main club in Indy last weekend, but my current SO wasn't quite ready yet so we passed much to the dismay of a few old friends on the board. Some providers will go but at a fee. I have been to the best of them in the Ft. Lauderdale area and it was always a great time. There is one at the Fort that is good and I think Muncie and Anderson. There is a swingers site that I belong to.

Just do your research and you will find what you want. I like them because I am a voyeur at heart.
