And MD, I'm totally with you on the cop thing. I have no respect for them whatsoever. They stop people for bullcrap, then get this smirk atttitude when they pull you over. I was going down this back road the other day and a car came flying around another car to pass them and whizzed in front of them reckless looking, so I blew at them when they passed, and when they got close I saw it was a damn cop. He tapped his brakes and then put his lights on for a second, but I thought it was because of an upcoming intersection. Next thing I know here he comes and stops me. He asks if there's any reason why I was blowing my horn at a cop as he passed when he had plenty of time between me and him once he went around the other car. I wanted to tell him I was blowing at a damn maniac driving recklessly, and knew very well it was a cop once he got close but still blew anyway. He said he was going on a call- but oh wait, his bruised ego had to turn around and stop me. I went up to a pay phone, called 911 and told the operator there what I thought of it. Did no good I know, but made me feel better. I actually thought about being in the law type areas when I was in college, even studied in the field, but after run-ins with cops over pure bullcrap, I want nothing to do with them, and actually applaud things that happen like in Ensley a few years ago. Back when I first started looking for SW over 10 years ago, I got pulled over in the Finley area, and this young know-it-all stopped me for coming down the inside roads by the McD's over there. I told them I got off the exit a few blocks up and was going to the McDs and saw it was closed so I was just getting on the interstate, and my driving would show that. He said I was going around 'his' drug houses and 'his' prostitutes. They took my pic and bullied me, I tried explaining I was studying CJ, and both he and his partner said 'oh my god, we don't need someone like you' or something like that. That's around the time I started losing respect for them. Now my feelings are they can go suck my left nut and maybe someone will help them visit Curly and the other Two Stooges.

And the only traffic you were blocking was the drug traffic. Oh wait, maybe it was impeding their possible take on the business to keep them from busting it. That's probably it. Either that or you were blocking their own traffic from getting a hit of it themselves.

I urge caution to those cruising the Woodlawn area -- the police have become a bit more vigilant since the new year has begun.

I got pulled over down the street from the Squirrel House after dropping a friend off -- the cop told me that I had blocked traffic by parking in the street when I let a lady friend out of the car.

Total lie on the cop's behalf -- these guys will pull you over just to check you out and then lie to your face that they had a valid reason to stop you. Poquito the Latino Pig just wanted to get all my information, and his Fat Ass Hick/Sweet Tits partner returned my license so that he could also get a good look at me.

LOTS of drug activities in this area and the dumb as fuck beat cops think that they can make a dent by pulling people over and gathering useless intelligence.

If the city wanted to make a dent, then they would be sending in detectives and running a stakeout from the myriad of abandoned houses or crack motels and actually clean up the area by working some major felony cases -- but it will never happen because no one gives a shit about this area and the higher ups know that a visible presence is worth much more than actually fighting crime.

Throw a couple of obnoxious young pigs -- who will be lucky to make Sergant by the time they retire -- at the problem and the status quo is maintained. They young pigs are happy because they make a couple of felony arrests every month -- which they mistakenly think is good for their careers.

OK. OK. End of rant. I just hope some of the beat pigs can get someone to read this for them and then I hope they remember who I am for the next time that they see me -- cause it will probably be walking out of their mother's house while zipping my pants.

So, again I urge caution in Woodlawn.

Went by Time on New Years Eve around 2:00 A.M. the open sign was open but the buzzer was gone off the door I looked in & there was a guy working on something in the wall to the right of the door.
