So I had a nightmare. I saw a post in the Alpharetta area, "she" had posted 3 days in a row but nothing before that. Late 20's. Contacted her and texting was typical. Upscale hotel. I headed over and checked out the surroundings like usual. No red flags so I headed upstairs. Families hanging out in the lobby. No red flags. I got to the room knocked and that was all she wrote. Some new friends greeted me from multiple directions. I eventually left the hotel with a document promising a future appointment at the County Courthouse.

So I'm sharing my misconceptions:

1. Just because it's a nice hotel doesn't mean the coast is clear.

2. 3 days of posts are not enough.

3. Older providers are safest.

The more you know. And finally if anyone has ever been in this situation and / or has a legal friend I'd appreciate any advice. Please private message me.

I don't get why you got in trouble or got a document just for knocking on the door. Or did you get it after the exchange of $$?

And if I am cruising solo, any suggestions? I saw one entry about looking for cute young ladies NOT on the alcohol plan. That is great advice.

I'd read about pineapples but forgot, I'll "cruise the boat" with an open eye, hope for the best. That's why I love this place, you have a question / thought / experience somebody been there done that and gladly help. Ya'll rock.

All this talk of cruising, and I am surprised nobody brought up Reddit. There is an entire subreddit dedicated to this with all kinds of posts: cruiser4 r You can post with your partner, or see if anyone is posting with THEIR partner, or as a single, or whatever. Usually couples and / or hotwives posting looking, not really that common for a single guy; but like I said, there are all kinds. All the cruise lines, various ships, and usually just real, horny folks looking for fun. I went on a cruise last year and posted with a partner, and we had a bit of success. It is not a guarantee, but perhaps better than knocking on a random pineapple door and not knowing what you will get.

I did a quick search about pineapples on the door and it alluded to the occupant being open to someone knocking. Is this what you are speaking of? I'm doing a 10 to Greece with fellow vets the end of the year and right now, I am on the hook for a balcony cabin by myself.

Google a little more. Pineapple is the universal symbol of swingers.

About a month ago I took a 7-day cruise with Norwegian. It was one of their largest ships. First day was at sea and I walked every floor, and counted 11 cabins with pineapples on the door. They can be found at the bars! Also try one of those party boat excursions.

I will say that I was able to check off a bucket list item I didn't even know I had. Having sex on my 13th floor balcony as the sun was setting. Amazing experience. .

Been on a couple of cruises. Unfortunately not alone. My first cruise there was an older lady I kept seeing. When I was alone, I went to the casino, she was there. We were flirting with each other, but there were signs I could've had her.

Go to the different functions / activities the cruise has as well the bars and casinos. Mingle with people. Most of the people are there to have a good time just like you. Believe in your game.

How long is your cruise and where are you sailing from?

The short 3 to 4 day cruises will have a lot more young people who are there to power drink and party. You will have a much better opportunity to hook up on one of these short cruises as opposed to a longer one, 7-8+ days, as these tend to be more families and couples. I think banging the staff is going to be difficult as others have said as there are some significant repercussions if they are caught.

Back to the short cruises. A few years ago I hopped on a 4 day cruise out of Canaveral. Almost everyone was under 35 and from the Orlando area. Many of the girl were not on a drink plan, meaning they had to pay as they went. They are easy to spot because they have to pay and sign at the bars just like any other bar. With a drink plan you just give them your card or have them scan your arm band and you they give you a couple of drinks. Needless to say, being a drink daddy with some game to a broke-ass 20-something year old proved fruitful.

Ship's staff is unfortunately off limits. Their rules not yours. But every port has it's entertainment, if you do some research beforehand.

Last time, I had to be chaperone on my daughter senior cruise (10 yrs ago before hobby) Others were couples. I tried my room maid. A hot lbfm from Manila and a smoking bartender from Bulgaria. Both said same thing, cruisers were off limits, if caught, immediate fire, and dumped at next port, having to find their own way back.

Maybe times have changed, otherwise a peaceful, relaxing few days. Maybe other cruisers, who knows.
