I hear you Jesse. At the moment AC is pretty much dead as a street mongering destination. That HBO show was certainly "stupid" but no way did that have a negative effect on street action. The decline can clearly be traced back to the murders. No doubt about it. It's a combination of fewer SWs and much heavier LE focus on stamping out prostitution.

The weather was nice this past weekend, spring is coming. In the past that would have meant SWs flocking Pacific. Not so this weekend at all. I did talk to a girl I've been with before. She said she's never seen it like this in terms of LE heat. "It's ridiculous." She and others are getting arrested multiple times and one girl she knows may be facing a year in prison not because of drugs but because of all her prostitution arrests. Apparently the stings are running much more often than what gets in the news.

I was surprised by the number given that you never see that many girls out anymore but apparently the sting was conducted both on the streets and in the casinos so that would explain the high number.

I stayed at Trump Marina. Went to Borgata as well. No girls anywhere. Not too many gamblers/spenders either and just a few gawkers.

Gambling is finished. With gas and tolls, you may be $100. Down before you begin. The casinos and government is stupid. They should liberalize the pay4play (sexwise.) They'd get guys coming from all over for the girls and inbetween humps they'd drop a few bucks gambling. The hotels would be sold out business would be booming and tax money would come in and people would have jobs again.

The stupid little dumpy Econolodge charges higher rates Sat and Sun than the nice casino hotels do. And the casino hotels throw in freebies.

I gave up on AC a long time ago and just come down, by bus, when they have a concert I like. Which is getting fewer and fewer.

Asbury Park has gay bars and motels and is raking in the bucks. Why can they have sex and straights can't? I would guess there would be gay prostitution in those places. Old fat gays taking hustlers and paying them for sex. Why can they do it and not straights? Probably the cops don't want to deal with those guys. But it's not fair and stupid.

After a few calls to regulars came up empty, I took a spin through Asbury Park today. Nothing much going on. Saw one BSW who gave me the eyes, but horrible looking! I checked out Main, and the numbers from 1-5; cruised around the lake on the north side. Observed plenty of LE (marked and unmarked).

This is a late reply but I believe several SWs sive in Seside. i have seen the same thing you have, only they are not aggressively soliciting. They look liken drunks or drug problems down on their luck.

the best approach is to stop and ask for directions, and try to get something going as in asking them if they need any part time work, and take it from there.

Not a lot of posting going on here over recent months. With reason. There is just not much going on on the streets. You can find girls but it is slim pickings most of the time. There are many more to choose from in the casinos but of course you have to pay for it too. I continue to be a cheap monger who does not like to pay casino girl prices.
